I, for as long as I can remember, have been intrigued, fascinated, bewildered, shocked, and amazed at the art which is film making... The one thing I came to understand, however, is that compared to some, my artistic qualities are often less than sufficient for what is average in a film maker or those who contribute to the film making process. So, as time went on, and I started to more fully understand my strengths and weaknesses, I realized that I could contribute in a different way and at the same time satisfy my desire to work with film on some level or in some form. I could critique the films I watch. Although I am abundantly aware that sitting back and passing judgement on the hard work of others is perhaps the easiest part of the whole process, it is a task that I feel I can fulfill. This Blog will be my possibly awkward, haphazard, disorganized, and clumsy attempt at being something most people love to hate: a critic.
